Megan is from Cascade, Iowa and is a graduate of the University of Dubuque. Megan has achieved many accolades during her playing career. Megan was high school honorable mention, All-Academic Team Awards, team MVP, Junior and Senior year team captain. Megan was a UD (3) year relief and starting pitcher. During Megan’s UD tenure, she competed in IACC tournaments, made 2nd team all-conference her Junior year, and received Most Valuable Pitcher. Megan pitched (4) games in IACC tournaments, won (2) IACC games and compiled an exceptional 1.85 ERA, giving up only (3) earned runs in IACC tournament play.
